What we have run, and what closed

The figures below describe the work in aggregate. The transactions beneath them are shown one by one — without company names, because a company's round is its disclosure to make rather than ours.

1Figures describe the aggregate target raise of campaigns Escher Capital has worked on — not capital raised, guaranteed, or under management — and may include work completed by our principals at prior firms. Past engagements are not a guarantee of future results.

Selected raises

Eight closed transactions, $639.9 million in aggregate transaction size.

$400MVenture fund raise

Deep-tech venture fund, regulated industries

Advised on the initial raise for a deep-tech venture fund investing in regulated industries, launched as a joint venture with a $10 billion private equity firm founded by an Apollo co-founder. A major US university endowment anchored the fund with $50 million.

$200MVenture fund raise

European early-stage access fund

Advised on the raise for a venture fund giving a sovereign wealth fund access to early-stage European startups. The target was raised from $100 million to $200 million after the anchor investor's response to the presentation.

$17MSeed round

Augmented reality and AI communications

V Technologies

Personally closed the full seed round, one of the largest outside Silicon Valley at the time, on partly deferred fees that converted to equity when the round closed. A global consulting firm was cultivated as a major customer and then converted to lead investor in a follow-on round.

$7MStrategic interim round

EU-licensed crypto exchange and personal finance platform

Coinmetro

Advised on the strategic interim round. Built the confidential information memorandum and restructured the business model and the revenue and valuation forecasts supporting the raise.

Publicly reported.

$5MFund raise

Early-stage blockchain investing program

Advised on the raise, revising the fund strategy, the investor materials and the outreach approach. Worked alongside the brokers finalizing the deals.

$5MEarly-stage round

Warehouse robotics

Advised on an early-stage raise for a lower-cost, more capable warehouse robotics platform holding letters of intent from major warehouse operators. Founded by a former senior logistics-automation specialist at a global strategy consultancy.

$4.3MFollow-on round

Augmented reality and AI communications

V Technologies

The follow-on venture round, led by the venture arm of a global consulting firm that had first come in as a customer.

An Escher principal took the chair of the board — a principal role rather than an advisory mandate.

$1.6MStrategic investment

Hydrogen VTOL aircraft, dual-use

Negotiated over $750 million in pipeline orders and letters of intent across India, Bali and Australia, then closed a strategic investment from family-office clients who had placed those orders. Established the dual-use program relationships with US and NATO defense commands.

An Escher principal served on the board as interim chief strategy officer and chief financial officer — an officer role rather than an advisory mandate.

Mergers, acquisitions and buy-side

Three completed mandates where the work was an acquisition or a sale rather than a raise.

$180MBuy and build

Green concrete production

Advised a group of ultra-high-net-worth family offices that combined assets to acquire a Texas green-concrete producer and expand it internationally. Built the investor presentation and the negotiation and revenue-acceleration scenarios.

Sell-side advisorSale to strategic acquirer

Telecom software, hosted voice and UCaaS

Led the sale of a telecom software platform to a national cable operator expanding its business-class services. The platform's hosted voice and Unified Communications as a Service were absorbed into the acquirer's fiber network and remain part of its business division today.

Transaction size not disclosed.

~$5MM&A and direct investment

Geospatial Lidar, power-line mapping

Advised a large family office on an M&A and direct investment mandate carrying the option to take a controlling stake in an Australian geospatial company that maps power lines using Lidar. The mandate contemplated bringing the company into the US market.

Pre-IPO and public markets

Ed Lee's placement and listing book, concentrated in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology across PIPEs, pre-IPO rounds and US public-market listings. Individual sizes are not disclosed at his election, so each mandate is shown by role. He puts the aggregate across them at approximately $250 million to $300 million — his own estimate, and not included in any total on this page.

Pharmaceutical developer

Sole agent across the company's PIPE placements.

Sub-placement agentPrivate placement

Figures are transaction size — not capital raised by Escher Capital, and not fees. Entries are drawn from the firm's August 2026 extended-team record and include work completed by our principals at prior firms and, where marked, in board or officer roles rather than as advisory mandates. Companies are not identified except where the company has cleared its name or the facts are a matter of public record. Past engagements are not a guarantee of future results.

How we report

Every figure on this site is sourced to a specific transaction or engagement and is reviewed before it is published. Where a number includes work completed by our professionals at prior firms, the footnote says so.

Transactions are published without the company’s name. A mandate and a round size identify a company to anyone who follows the sector, and whether that becomes public is the founder’s decision rather than ours. A name appears above only where the company has cleared it, or where the facts are already a matter of public record.

Nothing here describes a company that is currently raising. Where an entry was a board or officer role rather than an advisory mandate, it says so on its face rather than in a footnote.

If you want the detail behind any figure here, ask in the first conversation and we will walk you through it.
